We here at KominiakPhoto have been busier than beavers today. Iditarod 2012 kicked off with Ceremonial start in Anchorage downtown. We spent a fun-filled day shooting dogs and mushers, followed by evening going through the images.

Tomorrow we are heading to the official race start in Willow, AK. Stay tuned for (picture) updates!
The Last Great Race on Earth is almost here. Less than a week to the start of Iditarod, the sled dog race where mushers with their dogs travel 975 miles through Alaskan tundras. KominiakPhoto has been lucky to photograph these awesome adventurers and athletes for a couple of seasons, and will be there again this year.
